Vibstars is a Social Networking site based in France that appears to have been built as a platform to share web content with friends. That of course is the a primary goal of Lifestreaming so it makes sense that they add aggregation services to the site.
Vibstars currently support 19 services. If you want to try [...]
A while back Loic Le Meur wrote a post discussing how his social map is decentralized. He also urged others to create their own social maps. Several folks have since created them using wildly different visual ways to interpret and display them using a variety of tools.
Loic used pen and paper for his original version

Dipity is a new service that has come out that allows you to create both the prettiest and visually functional timeline I have yet to see on the web. The timeline can be created to represent any historic information. They currently have over 20,000 timelines that cover a broad range of themes. Timelines are created [...]
I came across another sweet self-hosted Lifestreaming mashup using Friendfeed + Shadowbox.js + Google Charts. This project was created by Wally J Punsapy.
His Lifestream displays a nice legend of the services in his stream. In it, he uses:

Google Charts to display stats showing his distribution of data [...]
Up until now I’ve watched this battle rage from afar, shaking my head as I read most of the posts and comments that fueled it. The only reason these two services are being compared is because they are both Lifestreaming services that hit the limelight at the same time.

When I first created the Lifestreaming Services Comparison Matrix the small number of services fit quite nicely into a pretty css table. Since then I’ve wanted to add more services and tweak the feature set which proved to be a bit much to fit on a web page. So I’ve migrated the comparison matrix to [...]
I’m currently working on an updated version of the Lifestream service comparison matrix and should have it ready very soon. Having worked on it for a while, it’s easy to see a pattern of feature sets that most services are supporting with some nice unique items available from several services. But in the [...]
I’ve been chatting it up a bit lately with Matt Galligan who is one of the founders of Socialthing! which is a new Lifestreaming service that is currently in private beta. One of their distinguishing features is the ability to use the service as a dashboard to publish to other services. I’ll provide more details [...]
I found out about Daily Mugshot today via Emily Chang’s eHub. Here’s a great simple idea that is implemented beautifully. Use your webcam to snap daily pitures of yourself and chronicle them. I recently bought me a sweet new Logitech QuickCam 9000 webcam and have been having some fun hangin’ out at Yahoo’s new Live [...]
