Good advice John. Creating a balance of where to push our content that's determined by our audience at each of the subsequent social media sites we interact on is challenging. I struggle finding the proper way to manage this myself and getting more insight into practical methods is always welcomed.

My main lifestream is at FriendFeed, but I am also streaming links to Twitter and Facebook to a limited extent. While the crowds are certainly at Twitter, and definitely at Facebook, many of the users on those services aren't used to massive streams of information. One alternative is to set up different areas for the streaming content - for example, some people establish multiple Twitter accounts, some of which are more personal than others. Another option is to stream to Facebook fan pages.
