Build a Lifestream Badge for Your Site at Escaloop

I read this post today by Carlo Zottman regarding a new site he just launched with the sole purpose of allowing people to create a Lifestream badge that can be hosted on their own sites. The site is called Escaloop and it currently supports up t0 20 RSS feeds that can be added to create the Lifestream. For some of the more popular feeds, an icon precedes the posted item.

The system doesn’t offer user accounts but you are assigned a unique id that you can use to modify the settings of your badge upon future visits. I found a few little quirks which are understandable since it just launched. The good news is Carlo has created a Google Group to discuss the site. It’s worth checking out if you just want to create a quick badge for your site.
