Strands Brings First Lifestream App to the iPhone (Video Review)

Lifestreaming service Strands.com has just released the first dedicated Lifestreaming app for the iPhone. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this and take a look at what it had to offer. It even prompted me to create my first video review on Lifestream Blog. I hope you enjoy it below.

Note this video is in HD. Pretty nice eh?

So as you can see it’s a pretty basic first implementation and although I want more, it’s hard to say anything negative because they are the first service to launch and I look forward to their sophmore effort which I already heard is underway.

You can download the app here. You can follow me on Strands here. If you’re not currently a user of Strands and would like to try it, leave a comment below and I’ll send you an invite.

Also, let me know if you like video reviews and would like to see me do more of them.

  1. Looks Interesting (found you from your tweet). I might start with a high level over-view for new users. Can you send me an invite?

  2. Thanks for checking out the app! This is the first release, and we hope to have some improvements built into the next one based on the feedback and suggestions we get (iphone@strands dot com). We are catching the memory leak in the Apple 2.2 SDK for using WebView, so hopefully they will have a fix for that soon as well 🙂

  3. Hey Mark,
I you got a great blog in here! I loved your feature matrix for various lifestreaming services. I tried to gain access to the Strands LIfestreaming service, but I am still in wait list. I am excited about this service and just don't wanna wait, is there a way you can send me an invite… please.

    Thanks
